I’ve been writing this Citizen Cartwright blog since 2009, as a morning speed-summary of top news, ideas and trends.

In recent years, as the survival of our American democratic experiment has become an issue, I’ve also been sharing tools to help us through stressful times.

Now the separation of powers and constitutional rights are at risk. The best guidance I know is for us to stay informed and to use the power of our personal purse and presence in support of democratic values and those who are vulnerable. We are one human family.

About me: My entire career has been about sharing quality information. I headed an information office within the U.S. Congress and subsequently owned a small publishing company reporting on Congress. I’ve been writing this blog in one venue or another for 25 years.
